The May 1 event at the Galt House Hotel is set to feature an array of musicians, movie and TV stars, and former and current athletes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/story-highlights> Grammy Award-winning musicians, professional sports icons, Kentucky Derby<\/a>\u00a0jockeys, and a constellation of stars from television, film, business, and the arts are set to walk the red carpet at the 2026 Unbridled Eve Derby Gala<\/a>.<\/p>\n Now in its 13th year, the Derby Eve celebration continues to draw an eclectic mix of guests from Louisville and across the country, all gathering to toast the Kentucky Derby on the eve of the world\u2019s most storied horse race.<\/p>\n Sisters Tonya York and Tammy York-Day, co-founders of the Unbridled Charitable Foundation, Inc.<\/a>, have shaped the gala into one of Kentucky Derby Week\u2019s most glamorous traditions. This year, the party is turning up the star power once again with Grammy Award winners Skip Martin<\/a>, Richie Sambora<\/a> and John Elefante<\/a>, plus \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d winner Phillip Phillips<\/a>, among a hefty list of other artists set to perform. They\u2019ll be joined by celebrity party guests including actors Gina Torres<\/a>, John Schneider<\/a>, Melissa Joan Hart<\/a>, Danica McKellar<\/a> and Anthony Ramos<\/a>, and Dateline NBC correspondent\u00a0Andrea Canning<\/a>. Plus, Griffin Johnson<\/a>, a social media influencer and owner of Derby contender Silent Tactic<\/a>, Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan<\/a>, and a roster of professional athletes and jockeys, including Zach Randolph<\/a>, Warren Moon,<\/a> Luke Hancock<\/a>, Mario Urrutia<\/a> and Triple Crown champion Jean Cruguet<\/a>, are all expected to appear.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re always amazed by the mix of people who want to be part of this night,\u201d York told The Courier Journal. \u201cOver the years, incredible friendships and partnerships have started here on Derby Eve. Warren Moon and Bob Guiney met at this party and have been friends for more than 20 years. A movie, currently in production, is the result of a film producer and a musician who crossed paths here at the party. You truly never know who you\u2019ll meet \u2014 and that\u2019s part of the magic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
