Hollywood is in mourning after Patrick Muldoon<\/strong>\u2019s<\/a> sudden death at age 57.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Patrick was] endlessly generous \u2014 with his poetry, his humor, and his unmistakable presence,\u201d read a statement shared with Deadline<\/em> on Monday, April 20. \u201c[Patrick] loved animals and people alike, gave unforgettable hugs, and possessed a rare quality of making others feel safe and seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued: \u201cStylish, charismatic, and full of life, he embraced each day with a full-tilt, rock \u2019n\u2019 roll spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Muldoon\u2019s manager confirmed he died<\/a> on Sunday, April 19, following a heart attack. Muldoon\u2019s sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa<\/strong>, later told TMZ that the Days of Our Lives<\/em> actor was taking a shower when his girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart, found him unconscious on the bathroom floor. Paramedics were unable to revive Muldoon at the scene.<\/p>\n
