April 20 (UPI) —<\/span> Celebrity couples stepped out to celebrate scientists at this year’s Breakthrough Prize ceremony.<\/p>\n Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine<\/a> and model Behati Prinsloo<\/a>, singer Christina Aguilera<\/a> and Matthew Rutler, actress Zoe Saldana<\/a> and Marco Perego, and socialite Paris Hilton<\/a> and Carter Reum walked the red carpet Saturday in Santa Monica, Calif.\n<\/p>\n Actor Robert Downey<\/a> Jr. and producer Susan Downey<\/a>, actress Salma Hayek<\/a> and businessman Francois-Henri Pinault<\/a>, model Miranda Kerr<\/a> and Reddit co-founder Evan Spiegel<\/a>, and actors Naomi Watts<\/a> and Billy Crudup<\/a> were also in attendance.<\/p>\n Solo celebs included actors Ben Affleck<\/a>, Orlando Bloom<\/a> and Oscar Isaac<\/a>, actresses Anne Hathaway<\/a>, Olivia Wilde<\/a>, Michelle Yeoh<\/a>, Gal Gadot<\/a> and Lily Collins<\/a>, and model Gigi Hadid<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n The Breakthrough Prize awards honor scientists and their achievements. Six of the prizes award $3 million each, with another $750,000 spread across nine other prizes.<\/p>\n Honorees included Jean Bennett, Katherine A.
