As the temperature begins to rise, there are several opportunities for Washingtonians to enjoy live music in outdoor festivals throughout the state.<\/p>\n

The Seattle-based music festival is returning to Seattle for its 53rd year.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Described by Outdoorsy,<\/a> an RV rental company, Bumbershoot is \u201can eclectic music festival that has something for everyone. It takes place annually in Seattle, Washington. The name Bumbershoot is a colloquial term for umbrella and was coined to portray the all-encompassing nature of the event,\u201d the website says.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Apart from the music, festival-goers can enjoy art, comedy and other entertainment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to the Bumbershoot website, there will be 38 performers across two days. Previous notable performers include Lorde, Billy Idol, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year\u2019s performers include Death Cab For Cutie<\/b> and Japanese Breakfast<\/b>, according to the website.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This festival takes place on Sept. 5 and 6 at the Seattle Center, located at 305 Harrison St., Seattle. Tickets can be purchased on the Bumbershoot website.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you\u2019re a fan of EDM music, head east for Bass Canyon.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Formed in 2018<\/a>, Bass Canyon is described as \u201cthe perfect fusion of world-class music, breathtaking scenery, and Pacific Northwest adventure,\u201d Outdoorsy said. \u201cYou\u2019re not just attending a festival \u2014 you\u2019re experiencing days of camping under star-filled skies, waking to Columbia River views, and joining thousands of bass fans in celebrating electronic music\u2019s most powerful genre.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to the Bass Canyon website, the lineup includes Atliens<\/b>, Barely Alive<\/b> and Paper Skies<\/b>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The festival will take place Aug. 14-16 at the Gorge Amphitheater, located at 754 Silica Rd NW in George. Tickets can be purchases on the Bass Canyon website.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step into a magical wonderland at Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This \u201cAlice in Wonderland\u201d-themed festival allows attendees to \u201cventure beyond the music, into an otherworldly land of multidimensional environments, interactive feats of technology, and wonders of color and light,\u201d the website says.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year\u2019s performers include, Angrybaby<\/b>, Apashe<\/b> and 1991<\/b> among many others.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The otherworldly festival will take place on June 27 and 28, with a pre-party on June 26 at the Gorge Amphitheater located at 754 Silica Rd NW in George. Tickets can be purchased on the Beyond Wonderland website.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Farther north, Bellingham will have its own summer music festival \u2014 Northwest Tune-Up.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThe NW Tune-Up is a community-oriented bike and music festival celebrating the culture of the Pacific Northwest and outdoor recreation for generations to come,\u201d the website says.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Featured artists include Sound Tribe Sector 9<\/b>, Chet Faker<\/b> and Brother Ali<\/b>, according to the website<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The combined music and bike festival will take place July 10-12 at 1100 Granary Ave., Bellingham. Tickets can be purchased on the Northwest Tune-Up website.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Local up-and-coming eastern Washington artists will be celebrated at the Spring Reverb Bash.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Run by 221 press, \u201cthe 2-day event will feature music from some of Spokane\u2019s finest, plus an outdoor punk rock yard sale\/gear swap all day on Saturday,\u201d an Instagram post announcing the festival says.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year\u2019s artists includes, Bad Hex<\/b>, Blunt Skulls<\/b> and Black Ends<\/b>, according to the website.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The festival will take place on April 17 and 18 at 1403 N Washington Street in Spokane.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bass Canyon<\/h2>\n
