However, to everyone\u2019s surprise, the 35-year-old seemed to disappear from Hollywood. Her comeback in Euphoria\u2019s latest season marks her first on-screen appearance in almost two years.<\/p>\n

The actress, known for her sharp eyeliner and Bratz doll-like aesthetic on the red carpet, also garnered online attention with a minimalist clean-girl look at the season\u2019s Los Angeles premiere on April 7.<\/p>\n

Demie was born in December 1990. Her mother, Rose Mendez, is a make-up artist whose family immigrated to Los Angeles from Mexico, according to The New York Times.<\/p>\n

Demie revealed in an interview with InStyle that her mother was a fashion enthusiast, so she grew up surrounded by fashion magazines, which naturally shaped her interests growing up.<\/p>\n

During her high school years, Demie would rework sunglasses, decorating them with jewels, per Seventeen Magazine. She eventually launched her own sunglasses collection, Mainframe. A friend who worked at a store on Melrose Avenue helped her start selling her designs, and soon sales began to skyrocket, reports Dazed.<\/p>\n
