Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/a> believe they\u2019ve taken Australia<\/a> by storm following their four-day visit this month<\/a>. With an itinerary of Indigenous culture, Australian sport and a trip to the national war memorial, it had all the hallmarks of a traditional royal tour, but they visited in a private capacity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n One source said: “Harry and Meghan are very pleased with how this trip has gone. It\u2019s given them a lot of confidence and reinforced their belief the tide is finally turning in their favour. They knew there would be some sniping from critics, but in their eyes, the overall reception they received from the general public \u2013 and the causes they supported \u2013 was incredible.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n They added: “It\u2019s confirmed Harry\u2019s belief they\u2019re creating a groundbreaking new blueprint that will stand them in good stead moving forward \u2013 and he\u2019s hoping it will impress the royals.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Speaking to Heat World<\/a>, an insider believes the trip could now work in their favour for any potential UK visits.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n They explained: “The way he sees it, the royals need him and Meghan flying the flag for the monarchy, especially with all the negativity they\u2019ve endured from the Andrew scandal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “He believes it\u2019s time to embrace this new chapter together and he\u2019s ready to sit down with his father and make that happen, hopefully in a couple of months when he next returns to the UK.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meghan and Harry’s trip included<\/a> a “focus on mental health, community resilience, and support for veterans and their families, alongside private meetings and special projects”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The duchess also attended “girls’ weekend” retreat hosted at Sydney’s five-star InterContinental Coogee Beach hotel, where standard tickets were priced at an eye-watering \u00a31,400.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meghan has not been in the UK since the late Queen’s funeral in 2022<\/a>, while their children, Archie and Lilibet, have not visited since her Jubilee celebrations that year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
