\t\t<\/p>\n Alan Osmond<\/strong><\/a> has sadly passed away.<\/p>\n The oldest brother from the 1970s band, the Osmond Brothers<\/strong>, died at the age of 76, KSL TV 5<\/a> in Salt Lake City is reporting.<\/p>\n He performed in the band with his brothers, Wayne, Merrill, Jay,<\/strong> Donny<\/strong><\/a> and Jimmy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n A new report shares that he died on Monday (April 20) at his home in Utah, with his family by his side. He was married to Suzanne Pinegar<\/strong>, and they had eight kids together.<\/p>\n Back in 1987, Alan was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, commonly referred to as MS. It\u2019s considered a chronic neurological disorder. He added about his diagnosis at that time: \u201cI was on stage and couldn\u2019t raise my right hand. I trusted my Heavenly Father. You have to have opposition in life \u2014 this was my test.\u201d He also once said, \u201cI may have MS, but MS does not have me!\u201d <\/p>\n He was also the brother of famed singer Marie Osmond<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Our thoughts are with Alan Osmond<\/strong>\u2018s friends, family, and loved ones.
