In the days leading up to the wedding, they found themselves talking more and more. Planning a joint bachelor-bachelorette trip gave them a reason to stay in touch, and the conversations quickly became a daily habit.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just haven\u2019t stopped talking,\u201d Jacobson tells PEOPLE, noting that they\u2019ve stayed in contact every day since that trip.<\/p>\n
Within a few months, their connection turned into something more serious. They started dating about three months after meeting, even though they were living in different cities at the time.<\/p>\n
\u201c[It was] three months until we started dating, but talking every day before that,\u201d Wackrow says.<\/p>\n
For Jacobson, those early days were defined by long, easy conversations that quickly became part of her routine. \u201cI would come home from work, make dinner and immediately go FaceTime David,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
Wackrow says the connection felt natural from the start. \u201cIt felt very authentic talking to her. There was no real lulls in conversation,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n
After a year of long distance, the relationship reached a turning point. Wackrow moved to Colorado to be closer to Jacobson, ending the distance that had defined their first year together.<\/p>\n
For Kulaga, watching it all play out has been both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. \u201cI felt so responsible,\u201d she says, admitting she worried about what would happen if it didn\u2019t work out.<\/p>\n
Now, she\u2019s happy with the outcome \u2014 and her matchmaking track record. \u201cI\u2019m really one for one,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n
The response to the TikTok only reinforced how much the story resonated. \u201cEveryone\u2019s like, \u2018Set me up next,\u2019 \u201d Jacobson says, noting how many people related to the idea.<\/p>\n

Looking back, Kulaga says her instinct came down to knowing both of them well. \u201cThere\u2019s no way they can\u2019t at least get along,\u201d she says of her thought process before setting them up.<\/p>\n
Nearly two years later, the couple is still together \u2014 and for Kulaga, it\u2019s proof that sometimes a wedding can do more than celebrate a love story \u2014 it can start one, too.<\/p>\n
