The Astoria Warrenton Crab and Wine Festival is back for a lively weekend of fresh seafood and nonstop entertainment taking place from April 24-26 at the Clatsop County Fair and Expo Center, 92937 Walluski Loop.<\/p>\n

Food offerings are mostly focused on crab and seafood, but there are kid-friendly options alongside vegan and vegetarian bites too. There are 151 registered vendors, providing artisan goods and regional wines to the three-day festival, according to Karen Gress, event coordinator with the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

Restaurants new to the 2026 festival include Nekst Event, Bridgewater Bistro and Tackle Box Burrito.<\/p>\n
Guests can expect to see some returning crowd favorites, too, like the Astoria Clowns selling the world-famous crab and shrimp melts, Gress said.<\/p>\n
The Astoria Rotary Club will have a crab dinner including salad and garlic bread, drinks and soup. Bell Buoy of Seaside is bringing fresh crabmeat, shrimp meat, crab cakes, smoked oysters, smoked razor clams, smoked salmon, grilled prawns with bacon and canned seafood.<\/p>\n

Crab Fest is debuting some fresh changes this year, including more of an emphasis on live entertainment. Bands are scheduled back-to-back across two stages throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe entertainment lineup was a strong focus of our planning this year, with the goal of featuring fan-favorite sounds across a mix of genres,\u201d Gress said.<\/p>\n

Friday evening kicks off the festival with performances by the Katelyn Convery Band, Ellen Whyte Duo, Beacon Street Titans and The Fender Benders.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s entertainment is made up of mostly tribute bands, including Secondhand Seattle, Roll On \u2013 The Alabama Tribute Band, and the Brownsmead Flats.<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s entertainment is a bit more laid back with the Jazz Quartet, Winn Alexander, Bottleneck Blues Band, and Jane Doe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether people come for the music, the food, the wine, or the full coastal experience, we\u2019re excited to welcome visitors for an entire weekend,\u201d Gress said. \u201cWith the new three-day pass this year, it\u2019s easier than ever to enjoy everything the festival has to offer while also allowing time to explore community favorites like museums, trails, and restaurants.\u201d<\/p>\n

The festival is also a celebration of Oregon wineries. Sixty-four wine, beer and spirit vendors are signed up.<\/p>\n

Best of show wineries selected in March at the Astoria Warrenton Crab & Wine Fest wine competition will have booths so people can taste local wines while they enjoy seafood.<\/p>\n

Advance tickets for Crab Fest can be purchased online for either Friday and Saturday admission for $20, or Sunday only for $10. Tickets purchased at the door are $5 more.<\/p>\n

New to this year\u2019s festival, guests can choose to get a 3-Day ticket for $35. The pass, which can be bought online, lets guests get into all three days of the festival with one ticket purchase.<\/p>\n

The festival still needs volunteer sign-ups. There are a variety of volunteer shifts people can choose from, and volunteering gets you free admission to the festival.<\/p>\n
