Celebrity Traitors<\/a> is set to return to our TV screens soon and fans are eager to discover who will will enter the famous castle.<\/p>\n

As rumours circulate about a potential line-up, Death in Paradise<\/a> actor Ben Miller has dismissed speculation that he has been asked to feature on the celebrity edition as he revealed “I haven’t been invited.”<\/p>\n

The actor, who had been linked to the upcoming second series of the successful BBC<\/a> spin-off, featured on Wednesday’s (April 22) instalment of Good Morning Britain<\/a> alongside presenters Ed Balls and Susanna Reid as well as entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold.<\/p>\n

The actor, who portrayed DI Richard Poole on the enduring BBC crime series, joined the ITV<\/a> breakfast programme to discuss his new children’s novel.<\/p>\n

However it was evident that Richard wouldn’t allow Ben to depart the studio without tackling rumours that he is scheduled to feature on the new series of Celebrity Traitors, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Addressing the performer he said: “Before I let you go.. Traitor or faithful? You’re one of the many names in the mix and I know filming starts in Scotland.”<\/p>\n

Ben dismissed the speculation as he responded: “I would love to do it. I haven’t been invited.. Spoiler. I would be a faithful, I don’t know how anyone could be a…”<\/p>\n

Richard didn’t appear to believe Ben as he interjected and said: “That’s what they all say.” Ben teased: “Maybe I am just saying that, right?<\/p>\n

“Oh ok, right. There we go, maybe we can’t trust caramel coloured jacket as much as we thought we could,” Richard added.<\/p>\n

Last month, it was revealed that the BBC had secured a significant new deal for both The Traitors and Celebrity Traitors, ensuring the franchise remains on screens for years ahead.<\/p>\n

Last year, Claudia Winkleman took the helm as host for the inaugural celebrity instalment, which boasted a host of big names, including Clare Balding, Tom Daley, Kate Garraway, Paloma Faith, and Sir Stephen Fry.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Traitors Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns, and Alan Carr wasted absolutely no time making things difficult, systematically eliminating their fellow celebrities under the cover of darkness, one by one.<\/p>\n
