President Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> appears to be satisfied with certain events related to the Iran war \u2014 at least according to his daughter-in-law Lara Trump<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the Tuesday, April 21, episode of \u201cThe Katie Miller Podcast,\u201d<\/a> Lara, 43, was asked to share the most recent text she received from the president.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was a video that the White House put out, and it just said, \u2018Love, DJT.\u2019 It was like a video of some, like, bombing,\u201d Lara said, through laughter. \u201cHe\u2019s proud of it. It was good.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s unclear which video Lara was referring to, the White House shared several videos last month that show the United States\u2019 airstrike on Iran. (The war with Iran started in February, and conversations about a possible ceasefire are continuing.)<\/p>\n

Lara has been married to the president\u2019s son Eric Trump<\/strong> since 2014. They share two kids: son Luke, 8, and daughter Carolina, 6. Lara previously acted as the cochair of the Republican National Committee, a role she held from March 2024 to January 2025. She has been hosting My View With Lara Trump<\/em> on Fox News since February 2025.<\/p>\n

During Tuesday\u2019s podcast episode, Lara offered more information about being married into the Trump family. When asked which member gives the \u201cmost unsolicited advice,\u201d Lara threw out Ivanka Trump<\/strong>\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like she wants to help. Like, she always means so well,\u201d Lara explained. \u201cBut you know, it\u2019s OK. We take it all in stride. It\u2019s all good.\u201d<\/p>\n

On a more positive note, Lara said that Ivanka is the family\u2019s best gift giver.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod, and we\u2019re the worst. Eric and I are the absolute worst,\u201d Lara continued. \u201cI mean, she remembers everything. My kids\u2019 birthdays, every single time. Don\u2019t ask me when the last time was [that] I sent my nieces and nephews an actual birthday gift on time, because I always fail. I\u2019m the worst.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lara later spoke more about the relationship she has with her father-in-law, referring to him as the \u201cmost likely to call just to check in.\u201d<\/p>\n
