Since their 1981 inception, British band Chameleons have always been up against fate. After a seminal 1980s era that yielded exceptional music of shadowy majesty that helped shape the iconic post-punk landscape, they folded before they could reap proper credit or reward. Since then, Chameleons have sputtered through cycles of resurrection and dissolution. Even against those star-crossed odds, their legacy endures.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chameleons\u2019 latest current rise, going since 2021, just last year culminated in their first studio album in nearly a quarter-century. Now the pioneering survivors come to Orlando, where we know our alternative music history well, on the miraculous and unlikely tailwind of the critically hailed Arctic Moon<\/em> LP as part of a North American tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come see these living post-punk gods and give them their rightful due in person. Opening will be excellent North Carolina soul-gaze band The Veldt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
