\t\t<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Jersey Shore<\/em> star Nicole \u201cSnooki\u201d Polizzi<\/strong> revealed that she had been diagnosed with cervical cancer<\/a>, but it was luckily in an early stage and curable.<\/p>\n The 38-year-old reality fan favorite explained that she had been going for routine checkups after precancerous cells were initially found, but eventually started putting off the screening appointments.<\/p>\n \u201cMy doctor was leaving me a voicemail screaming at me like, \u2018You need to get in here. This is serious. You don\u2019t want it to escalate.\u2019 That\u2019s when I finally went in,\u201d Snooki <\/strong>told People<\/em><\/a>, adding \u201ca ton\u201d of precancerous cells<\/a> were then found.<\/p>\n The cancer has not spread since she found out in February, and she will be undergoing a hysterectomy, which will mean she won\u2019t need to undergo any further treatment.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not great with pain, so thinking about removing an organ is scary.
