Duran Duran<\/a> have reunited with\u00a0Nile Rodgers<\/a> for their glossy new song, \u201cFree to Love.\u201d Stream it below.<\/p>\n Co-written by Rodgers, the upbeat song combines disco and funk with new wave. \u201cFree to love\/ Be free to win or lose,\u201d Duran Duran\u2019s Simon Le Bon sings on the chorus. \u201cFree to love\/ Do what you want to do\/ Free to love\/ Be free to see it through.\u201d<\/p>\n Get Duran Duran Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n In the accompanying music video, directed by Jonas \u00c5kerlund (Madonna, Beyonc\u00e9, Metallica, Lady Gaga), Duran Duran and Rodgers deliver a performance meant to evoke retro music shows,\u00a0complete with disco balls and enthusiastic dancers. We share a common belief that music is a force for good and something that brings positive energy into the world.\u201d<\/p>\n Rodgers echoed those sentiments in a statement of his own: \u201cMy love for Duran Duran, and what our music together has always been about, is the love we share for our song\u2019s deepest meanings. Whatever chaos is going on outside, inside the studio, we\u2019re free to love our peace.\u201d<\/p>\n Duran Duran and Rodgers first collaborated on a remix of the band\u2019s 1984 hit \u201cThe Reflex,\u201d their first single to top the\u00a0Billboard<\/em> Hot 100. He also produced on their 2004 album,\u00a0Astronaut<\/em>, and more recently, played guitar on 2015\u2019s \u201cPressure Off.\u201d<\/p>\n In May, Duran Duran will headline BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, California, ahead of a four-show Las Vegas residency at Fontainebleau. After that, they will embark on a month-long run through Europe.
