Former Bachelorette <\/em>star Katie Thurston is addressing divorce speculation amid her battle with breast cancer. <\/p>\n The reality TV star, who was diagnosed with cancer in early 2025, was asked if she and her husband, comedian Jeff Arcuri, had called it quits after one year of marriage. <\/p>\n \u201cI have a question: Are you divorcing me?\u201d Thurston asked Arcuri in a video shared on her Instagram Story earlier this week. \u201cWell, I noticed you haven\u2019t been \u2018liking\u2019 my posts, like, the last six you haven\u2019t \u2018liked.\u2019 The internet says you\u2019re leaving me.\u201d <\/p>\n The comedian quickly denied the allegation and questioned Thurston if she was \u201cserious.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t look at Instagram,\u201d he declared. \u201cAre you serious? I\u2019ll go \u2018like\u2019 them right now if you need me to. I don\u2019t \u2018like\u2019 anything.\u201d <\/p>\n Thurston went on to say that a \u201cfake\u201d Instagram account posted the \u201cshocking news\u201d about their marriage ending. <\/p>\n \u201cSome random account [reported it],\u201d Thurston explained. She then pointed out that the account stated it was \u201cno wonder\u201d the marriage ended. <\/p>\n In a joking response, Arcuri said, \u201cAre you recording me? I am leaving you.\u201d <\/p>\n Days later, Thurston announced<\/a> that she and Arcuri had recently bought a house. <\/p>\n \u201cBut not just any house, but one that will require a lot TLC to get her ready,\u201d she shared. \u201cThis is a huge project we will be documenting over the next year with the help of @salacuse and @jaedon.meek!\u201d<\/p>\n Thurston then wrote, \u201cThis is just the beginning as we create our demo plan with the help of @re_design_architects. Obviously, we were wanting to plan a wedding and there\u2019s a lot of emotions that come in with chemo and the impact and the health and we don\u2019t know what the next year looks like,\u201d Thurston told Us Weekly<\/a><\/em>. \u201cAnd one night he said, \u2018I want to show you that I still love you and that I\u2019m here to stay. I\u2019ll get married to you tomorrow.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cWe flew our parents in from Michigan and Washington State,\u201d she shared. \u201cWe got our marriage license, and a friend is just gonna marry us.\u201d<\/p>\n She went on to add, \u201cIt was this kind gesture of him saying, truly, in sickness and in health. He is proving that he\u2019s here to stay. He shows up every day and he does it in ways that just continue to surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
