Prince Harry and Meghan Markle <\/a>have been slammed as \u2018grifters\u2019 after their visit to Australia, which could reportedly have made them \u00a35.3 million.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Australia<\/a> last week, visiting a children\u2019s hospital, a veterans’ art museum, a women\u2019s services centre, and more. Sky News Australia<\/a> host Danica De Giorgio called the pair\u2019s visit a \u201ccircus\u201d, saying: \u201cIt is all said and done for the grifters of Oz. So long, farewell. Meg and her spare handbag Harry <\/a>have finally left Australia after a whirlwind circus.\u201d She said the visit included \u201ca taxpayer-funded walk around Sydney, a woe-is-me microphone tour, a blink-and-you\u2019ll-miss-Meg<\/a> two-hour girls weekend appearance, a cash-for-wear clothing scheme, oh and the grifters are set to pocket $10 million (\u00a35.3 million) from their four-day visit\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This comes after Ted Jenkin, managing partner of Exit Wealth Advisors, told Page Six <\/a>that the Sussexes could have made millions by speaking at events and making brand deals during their tour in Australia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He said: \u201cMeghan and Harry could make money from audience aggregation, premium access, brand leverage. All totalled, this tour could fetch $10 million (\u00a3.35 million) or more for Meghan and Harry. Anytime these two get in the public eye, it usually follows with a flowing cash register.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jenkins estimated the pair could have earned \u00a31.06 million from speaking engagements and appearances, \u00a31.85 million from sponsorships and brand deals and \u00a32.39 million from media and content value.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

De Giorgio added: \u201cWeren\u2019t they supposed to be two private citizens? Didn\u2019t they beg for privacy? Wasn\u2019t that the big shtick for them leaving the Royal Family? To go about their lives away from the cameras? Please.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBut don\u2019t worry, they got their privacy – no crowds for them at the Sydney Opera House. They clearly expected crowds, cause there were barricades up waiting in anticipation, and there was nobody.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
