Located just outside London, Chessington World of Adventures is opening a new PAW Patrol-themed land on May 3, 2026. It is the UK\u2019s first and only PAW Patrol\u00ae themed land.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Chessington World of Adventures is accelerating its transformation into one of Merlin Entertainments\u2019 most brand-driven parks, opening a new PAW Patrol-themed land on May 3 ahead of the resort\u2019s planned Minecraft World in 2027.<\/p>\n The new family-focused area is being billed as the U.K.\u2019s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land, bringing Nickelodeon\u2019s popular preschool franchise to life through rides, play areas, themed food, merchandise, and hotel accommodations.<\/p>\n Nick Bevan, Vice President at Chessington World of Adventures Resort<\/strong>, said:\u00a0\u201c<\/em>We are almost ruff-ruff ready to open the gates and welcome families to our brand-new World of\u00a0PAW Patrol. Little ones will be able to step straight into Adventure Bay for the very first time in the UK, which is super exciting. We can promise a day full of rides, unforgettable moments, and plenty of high-paws. With the May Bank Holidays and half-term on the horizon, it\u2019s the PAW-fect time to plan a day out jam packed with teamwork, fun and PAW-some surprises.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Designed for younger guests and families, the land will feature four attractions themed to characters from the series:<\/p>\n Three themed playscapes will also be included, along with five PAW Patrol hotel rooms at the resort. The \u2018Rubble & Rocky\u2019s Play Zone\u2019 is a hands-on, climbable construction zone where guests can slide, climb, and explore alongside their favourite construction pup.<\/p>\n And the littlest Paw Patrol fans can climb aboard the \u2018Flounder Boat,\u2019 where little explorers can help Cap\u2019n Turbot on a high-seas adventure.<\/p>\n Personally, I am so excited for families to head here. PAW Patrol also translates easily into rides, play areas, merchandise, and hotel experiences, giving Merlin multiple revenue opportunities beyond admission. <\/p>\n With Minecraft World not scheduled until 2027, PAW Patrol helps keep momentum at the park now while broadening Chessington\u2019s appeal to younger children and creating reasons for families to return as their kids grow.<\/p>\n The opening continues parent company Merlin Entertainments\u2019<\/strong> successful use of globally recognized intellectual property across its attractions portfolio, which includes partnerships tied to Peppa Pig<\/strong>, LEGO<\/strong>, and the recently announced Minecraft World<\/a><\/strong> coming to Chessington in 2027.<\/p>\n Merlin Entertainments first announced a $110 million investment in \u201cMinecraft\u201d-themed attractions across the U.S. and U.K. in November 2024<\/a>, without revealing specific locations. The Chessington project accounts for \u00a350 million of that total investment. Merlin has not yet announced where the U.S. \u201cMinecraft\u201d attraction will be located.<\/p>\n Chessington World of Adventures is located about 35 minutes by train from London Waterloo. The park is operated by Merlin Entertainments, which also runs the Legoland resorts, Alton Towers, and Thorpe Park across the UK.<\/p>\n Merlin\u2019s decision to bring PAW Patrol to Chessington underscores the resort\u2019s growing role as the company\u2019s London-area family gateway, using globally recognized brands to drive repeat visitation and short-break stays.
