KoRn<\/a> have returned with \u2018Reward the Scars\u2019, their first new single in four years. Listen below.<\/p>\n The US nu-metal band recorded the track for the Diablo IV<\/em><\/a> video game expansion \u2018Lord Of Hatred\u2019, which launches next Tuesday (April 28).<\/p>\n It marks their first material since their 14th and latest studio album, 2022\u2019s \u2018Requiem\u2019<\/a>, and comes ahead of KoRn\u2019s 2026 UK and European tour \u2013 their first in over a decade<\/a> \u2013 kicking off this autumn.<\/p>\n \u2018Reward The Scars\u2019 features production from Nick Raskulinecz, who started working with the group on their 12th full-length effort, \u2018The Serenity Of Suffering\u2019 (2016). The ferocious track kicks off with an instruction to \u201cGo!<\/em>\u201c, after KoRn unleash a pummelling instrumental.<\/p>\n \u201cHey you, won\u2019t you come around, I drop down\/ Hey you, looking underground, I confound<\/em>,\u201d the first verse goes. \u201cI\u2019ve had enough of you\/ There\u2019s nothing you can do\/ Hey you, don\u2019t you come at me suddenly<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n The song then heads in a more anthemic direction in the chorus, albeit with some brutal guitar work: \u201cHelp me free the ones I saved\/ And I can walk the path that\u2019s laid\/ Break me, take me all the way soul betrayed (Go!)<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
