The Government has been urged to issue a statement after Prince Harry <\/a>slammed Donald Trump in his Ukraine speech. The Duke of Sussex attended the Kyiv Security Forum yesterday (April 23) to give a speech.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He said he was \u201cnot here as a politician\u201d but as \u201ca soldier who understands service\u201d and a \u201chumanitarian\u201d. Although he did not mention Trump by name, Prince Harry<\/a> urged \u201cAmerican leadership\u201d to \u201chonour its international treaty obligations\u201d in its \u201cenduring role in global security\u201d. Harry said: \u201cThe United States has a singular role in this story. Not only because of its power, but because when Ukraine<\/a> gave up nuclear weapons, America was part of the assurance that Ukraine\u2019s sovereignty and borders would be respected.\u201d Donald Trump<\/a> responded, telling reporters: \u201cI know one thing, Prince Harry<\/a> is not speaking for the UK, that\u2019s for sure. I think I am speaking for the UK more than Prince Harry.<\/a>\u201d He added: \u201cBut I appreciate his advice very much.\u201d He went on to ask: \u201cHow\u2019s he doing? How\u2019s his wife?
