The Bachelor<\/em><\/a> alum Jade Roper<\/strong><\/a> is her family\u2019s breadwinner \u2014 and she\u2019s not shy about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWondering how yall can afford the remodel and huge property,\u201d one fan asked Roper, 39, during an Instagram Q&A on Thursday, April 23, prompting the former reality star to share some details about her and Tanner Tolbert<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s financial situation, without specific numbers.<\/p>\n

\u201cMama makes the money in this house,\u201d she replied. \u201cBut he\u2019s really great at handling the finances and investing it for us. We make a good team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tolbert and Roper became one of Bachelor Nation\u2019s most successful couples after meeting on season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise<\/em><\/a> in 2015. The pair got married the following year and have since expanded their family with daughter Emerson, 8, and sons Brooks, 6, and Reed, 5.<\/p>\n

The couple have continued to share the highs and lows of their home life since leaving the reality TV space. Roper was particularly honest with fans in 2023 when she suffered a miscarriage.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been struggling what to write here as I\u2019ve been navigating a miscarriage,\u201d she shared via Instagram at the time. \u201cIt felt like all my dreams were coming true to welcome another baby into our lives, to love and to complete our family. While our hearts are completely broken and we have been dealing with the deep and complex grief of the loss, we have been blessed to be touched by his soul or his short amount of time. I am forever changed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roper revealed that they had plans to name the baby boy Beau.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m currently experiencing what is called a missed miscarriage, so while his heart has stopped and he has stopped growing (for some time now), my body hasn\u2019t released the pregnancy yet,\u201d she continued. \u201cI am hoping to do this naturally and am trusting in timing and in my body under the care of my provider.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jade and Tanner, fresh off Chris Soules and Kaitlyn Bristowe\u2019s respective seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, joined the beach spinoff during 2015\u2019s season 2. They went on the season\u2019s first date, which kickstarted their connection. \u201cI loved Paradise because of the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She and Tolbert have continued to mourn their son, sharing social media posts in his honor. She even believed they received a message<\/a> from their late son this past holiday season when making the family Christmas card.<\/p>\n
