We share a common belief that music is a force for good and something that brings positive energy into the world,\u201d keyboardist Nick Rhodes said in a statement. The musician called the new track the band\u2019s \u201ccall to all the people out there who want peace, hope and understanding to prevail\u201d and an \u201canthem for freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFree to Love\u201d is the latest in the band\u2019s long line of collaborations with Rodgers that first began with a remix of the band\u2019s 1984 track \u201cThe Reflex,\u201d the group\u2019s first song to top the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers echoed Rhodes\u2019 words and said, \u201cMy love for Duran Duran and what our music together has always been about is the love we share for our song\u2019s deepest meanings.\u201d Rodgers added, \u201cWhatever chaos is going on outside, inside the studio we\u2019re free to love our peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"op-interactive\">\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Duran Duran - Free to Love (feat. In the video, the band delivers the nostalgic-driven track amid a glittering disco party. Last month, Duran Duran announced that they will top the bill at London\u2019s BST Hyde Park for the second time on July 5 with special guests Scissor Sister.
