The Anderson Soir\u00e9e <\/a>returns this week, bringing four days of live music, food vendors, art displays, and family-friendly activities to the city\u2019s core.<\/p>\n Musical headliners include Joe Nichols on the Papa Bear Car Wash Sound Stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, and Benton Blount at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.<\/p>\n The Tams will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 25, on the Duke Energy Stage.<\/p>\n The Anderson Soiree will take over downtown Anderson on April 24 and April 25. The event will feature a variety of activities for residents to enjoy, including food, music, art, and activities for children.<\/p>\n This is the fourth year of the event since its 13-year hiatus. The Soir\u00e9e was originally held in downtown Anderson from\u00a01985 to 2009, but discontinued due to financial issues.\u00a0In 2022, the city of Anderson brought the event back.<\/p>\n Roads will be closed from Friday, April 24, until Sunday morning, April 26, from Tribble Street to John Street. The parking lot behind Grace Church will be closed from 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, through Saturday evening, April 25.<\/p>\n The Church Street Heritage Plaza parking lot will be reserved for handicapped parking during the festival. This lot will close on Friday, April 24, at 6 a.m. The Generator Park parking lot will also close at this time.<\/p>\n Thirty-nine musical acts<\/a> will perform on four stages throughout the two days.<\/p>\n There will be 21 food vendors\u00a0<\/a>at the Soiree, serving a variety of dishes, including desserts, Mexican<\/span>, pizza, barbecue, and frozen treats.<\/p>\n If guests want to purchase alcohol, they must purchase a wristband and wear it throughout the event site. These can be purchased\u00a0for $5 at participating restaurants, the promotions Tent, or at the Wristband Tent on Friday, April 24, located beside the Papa Bear Car Wash South Main Stage.<\/p>\n The participating wristband sellers are Brews\u00a0on Main, Carolina\u00a0Bauernhaus, Doolittle\u2019s, Earle Street\u00a0Kitchen and Bar, Electric City Pizza, Groucho\u2019s\u00a0Deli, Growler Haus,\u00a0J Peter\u2019s Bar and Grill, Kitchen Emporium,\u00a0Magnetic South\u00a0Brewery,\u00a0McGee\u2019s\u00a0Scot-Irish Pub, Raines\u00a0on Main,\u00a0Sullivan\u2019s\u00a0Metropolitan Grill,\u00a0Summa Joe\u2019s,\u00a0Taco Loco,\u00a0TWB, UP on the Roof and\u00a0Viva\u00a0Wine Bar.\u00a0<\/p>\n No coolers or outside drinks are allowed at the Soir\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/p>\n There’ll be selections of fine art, home goods, jewelry, apparel, and stationery accessories to purchase.<\/p>\n Visitors can also experience\u00a0SculpTOUR<\/a><\/strong>, a rotating public art exhibition featuring large-scale sculptures installed throughout downtown, with new works unveiled each year leading up to the Soir\u00e9e.<\/p>\n The art extends beyond the festival footprint through\u00a0Art on the Town<\/a><\/strong>, placing original artwork inside local businesses and turning the entire downtown into part of the Soir\u00e9e experience.\u00a0<\/p>\nRoad closures for Anderson Soiree<\/h2>\n
