Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong><\/a> once claimed that her ex Dakota Mortensen<\/strong> showed an alleged \u201cpattern\u201d of \u201csabotage\u201d against her during their complicated relationship history.<\/p>\n

\u201cDakota has a history of creating these situations and there is a pattern of him trying to sabotage anything big or exciting happening with my life,\u201d Paul claimed in a March 4 witness statement to the Draper County Police Department obtained by Us Weekly<\/em> on Wednesday, April 22. \u201cThings like a new season [of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a>] coming out or in this case the trailers for the Bachelorette<\/em> starting to run always seem to set him off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul, 31, alleged that Mortensen, 33, was not capable of \u201closing control or being put in any sort of negative light publicly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHis messages to me talked about how he can\u2019t watch me fall in love with the rest of the world and give other men a side of me he\u2019s craved every day,\u201d she claimed. \u201cHe is the one coming to my home, begging for us to be together, and now claiming that I assaulted him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDakota Mortensen is breaking his silence after an alleged altercation with Taylor Frankie Paul\u00a0led to a Secret Lives of Mormon Wives production shutdown. \u201cHis number one priority here is protecting [their son], Ever,\u201d a rep for Dakota, 33, told Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday, March 18. \u201cHe knew there was a possibility it could come out, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Paul accused Mortensen of lying about the details of their alleged domestic violence dispute in February.<\/p>\n

\u201cDakota frequently lies and is not being truthful about what occurred last week,\u201d she claimed. \u201cHe has already told multiple versions of what he claimed happened to the 911 operator, the detective, CPS and family\/friends. None of them add up for make any sense considering all of the circumstances and evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us has reached out to Mortensen\u2019s spokesperson for comment.<\/p>\n

Paul and Mortensen have had their ups and downs over the years. Taylor and Mortensen started dating after her 2022 divorce from Tate Paul following the infamous #MomTok swinging scandal. (The exes share two kids: Indy and Ocean.)<\/p>\n

One year into their relationship, Taylor and Mortensen were involved in a domestic violence incident. Taylor was ultimately charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief in 2023. She pleaded guilty six months later to aggravated assault, while the other four charges were dismissed with prejudice as part of a plea deal.<\/p>\n

The following year, the pair welcomed son Ever. Despite their efforts to maintain their relationship, Taylor and Mortensen ultimately split in 2024.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Taylor and Mortensen were involved in another alleged domestic dispute investigated by the authorities. Amid the pair\u2019s tumultuous history, ABC decided to not move forward with Taylor\u2019s season of The Bachelorette<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Taylor was ultimately not charged<\/a> a crime in relation to the alleged incident and the investigation is closed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter reviewing reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney\u2019s Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul,\u201d District Attorney Sim Gill\u2019s office said in a statement to Us<\/em> earlier this month.<\/p>\n
