Tim Tebow<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is in mourning after the death of his father, Bob Tebow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHeaven ushered in a hero of the faith last night as my Dad was welcomed home!\u201d Tim, 38, wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Friday, April 24. \u201cMany will say sorry for your loss, but the truth is he\u2019s not lost. We know exactly where he is. He\u2019s home. Forever!\u201d<\/p>\n

In his emotional tribute on social media, Tim shared a collection of photos with his dad, who was 78, over the years. The former NFL quarterback also celebrated Bob\u2019s Christian faith.<\/p>\n

\u201cI asked him last week what he looked forward to most about Heaven, and he simply said, \u2018Jesus,\u2019\u201d Tim recalled. \u201cHe couldn\u2019t wait to see Jesus face to face. Praise God that his wait is over. Death has been swallowed up in victory. He\u2019s healed and whole now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHollywood mourned the deaths of some of its most legendary stars in 2026. The year started off with Broadway performer and influencer Bret Hanna-Shuford\u2019s death at age 46. At the end of the month, comedy acting icon Catherine O\u2019Hara died at age 71. In February, Designing Women\u2019s Camilla Carr died at age 83, Dawson\u2019s Creek [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He continued, \u201cSo we don\u2019t mourn as those with no hope. See you soon, dad!\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2016, the former football player announced in an interview with People<\/i><\/span><\/a> that his father had been diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s disease. His official cause of death, however, has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

Despite the difficult diagnosis, Tim\u2019s wife, Demi-Leigh Tebow<\/strong>, said her father-in-law never lost his faith in God.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am grateful for the man who raised the love of my life,\u201d she wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Friday. \u201cThe man who shaped him to be strong yet humble, courageous yet kind, bold yet deeply compassionate\u2026 a protector, a leader, and above all, a man who loves God and loves people well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Demi-Leigh, 30, continued, \u201cWe know heaven is rejoicing as he is welcomed into his forever home\u2026 but on this side of heaven, the emptiness is real, and it is heavy. We will miss him. And we will do our best to carry forward the legacy he lived so faithfully.\u201d<\/p>\n
