It\u2019s rare to see reality TV that\u2019s truly chaotic these days, where celebs shout over one another, editing accusations are hurled and stars storm off set \u2013 but that\u2019s exactly what happened during last night\u2019s I\u2019m A Celebrity: South Africa<\/a> final. <\/p>\n

The live episode, which took place seven months after the main reality competition was filmed, saw Adam Thomas crowned ultimate king of the jungle<\/a> in the all stars spin-off of I\u2019m A Celebrity. However, his win was overshadowed by Jimmy Bullard accusing him of being \u201cabusive, aggressive and intimidating\u201d during their headline-making row on the show \u2013 forcing Ant and Dec to step in over his claims that the moment was edited down. <\/p>\n

In the week leading up to the final, viewers watched as Thomas furiously confronted Bullard<\/a> during a trial after the ex footballer immediately gave up, resulting in both him and Thomas being eliminated from the show. \u201cYou\u2019re taking the p***!\u201d he said. \u201cIf you wanted to go, go \u2013 don\u2019t do it on my f**ing watch!\u201d<\/p>\n

While Thomas was later allowed to stay after his fellow campmates voted on the issue, Bullard used the live final on Friday (25 April) to address their row before the winner was crowned, saying: \u201cWhat I don\u2019t stand on is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating. Youse were there, you had front row seats. You didn\u2019t show none of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Ant and Dec jumped in to argue that I\u2019m A Celebrity showed \u201cquite a lot of it\u201d, Bullard claimed that they didn\u2019t air any of Thomas\u2019s alleged \u201cc-bombs\u201d in the broadcast. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason you can\u2019t show the c-bomb is because that\u2019s unbroadcastable,\u201d Ant said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t think it was intimidating. I was there. I was there, Jim,\u201d Ant continued, as the crowd applauded.<\/p>\n

Giving Thomas a chance to address his behaviour, he said: \u201cListen, I take full responsibility for my actions. Yes, emotions were definitely running high in that moment but listen, I\u2019ve got nothing but love for Jimmy.\u201d At which point, David Haye chipped in with: \u201cYou have a funny way of showing it \u2013 you\u2019re such a victim.\u201d <\/p>\n

Haye and Thomas also clashed while in the jungle<\/a>, with the former heavyweight champion boxer calling Thomas \u201cuseless\u201d and appearing to continually pick on him. Thomas revealed earlier in the week that while Haye had apologised, his actions \u201cbroke\u201d him on the show<\/a>. <\/p>\n

After Haye\u2019s comments during the live final, Ant and Dec repeatedly tried to stop him from speaking before Dec said: \u201cDavid, you\u2019d gone \u2013 you weren\u2019t even there.\u201d Haye made it to the 11th day in camp before being eliminated with Gemma Collins. <\/p>\n

The presenting duo then asked Haye what he made of the reaction to some of his comments on the show \u2013 with the boxer sparking outrage earlier in the competition<\/a> after claiming that \u201cbeautiful girls have terrible personalities, whereas uglier girls have much better personalities\u201d. <\/p>\n

However, Haye took the opportunity to accuse ITV of editing his time in camp. \u201cI like to say how I see it, when I\u2019m in a situation, I keep it real. What I\u2019ve seen is a lot of editing to make this poor guy look like a victim so the people support him,\u201d he said, referring to Thomas. \u201cWhen we all have banter, we all have back-and-forth, a lot of it was cut out from their side but I think it\u2019s time for the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Dec said he \u201cwasn\u2019t there\u201d once again, Bullard then waded in again, with the conversation descending into a full shouting match. \u201cI was there as well and that was a full and fair representation,\u201d Ant began to say, before Bullard started asking each individual cast member whether they thought Thomas\u2019s behaviour was \u201cabusive and aggressive\u201d. <\/p>\n

While Bullard began shouting for ITV to \u201cshow\u201d the full clip, Sinitta walked off set \u2013 but not before telling the audience: \u201cI was there. It was aggressive and abusive.\u201d Gemma Collins was next to walk away as the arguing continued, before Mo Farah became the voice of reason. <\/p>\n

\u201cListen, we enjoyed it. Let\u2019s not spoil that moment. We all have a moment in our life \u2013 right or wrong,\u201d Farah said, with Bullard firing again: \u201cBut you can\u2019t be abusive, aggressive and intimidating.\u201d <\/p>\n

Attempting to shut down Bullard again, Ant said: \u201cHe said sorry. Right, let\u2019s leave it there because if you can\u2019t take an apology then I can\u2019t take that. Let\u2019s leave it at that. I didn\u2019t find it was that and I was there, so we\u2019ll agree to disagree.\u201d <\/p>\n

Jimmy Bullard continually interrupted Ant and Dec during the live final (ITV)<\/span><\/div>\n

The Independent has reached out to ITV for comment. <\/p>\n

Viewers quickly took to social media to hail the scenes as some of the wildest ever seen on the show, with one writing on X, formerly Twitter: \u201cThat was the craziest 5 minutes of #ImACeleb in 25 years. I absolutely love the drama of live TV but David and Jimmy are EMBARRASSING themselves.\u201d Strictly Come Dancing star George Clarke even gave his take, tweeting: \u201cI have watched 0 minutes of this show and this might be some of the best bit of tv I\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite being announced as the I\u2019m A Celebrity: South Africa winner, Thomas looked defeated as he was crowned \u2013 with the ex Emmerdale star failing to appear on its companion show, Unpacked, hosted by Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers. <\/p>\n

Thomas addressed his win on Instagram, saying: \u201cI have realised that when people try to dim your light, it says more about them than it ever will about you.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis experience has shown me my strength in ways I never imagined. Not because of any title or recognition, but because I stayed kind, I stayed grounded and I stayed real.\u201d<\/p>\n

He went on to thank with family and those who supported him, before saying that he carries \u201cno negativity\u201d towards those who \u201ctried to bring [him] down\u201d. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Collins also took to Instagram \u2013 but addressed the drama more specifically in her post. \u201cJimmy Bullard and David Haye should be absolutely DISGUSTED WITH THEMSELVES,\u201d she wrote on her Instagram Stories. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
