Harry’s latest visit comes just days after he returned from Australia with Meghan Markle<\/a>. Speaking on ITV News, royal correspondent Chris Ship appeared to come to Harry’s defence over the timing of his latest visit. He said: “Harry’s work with that trust will bring in extra money to do that vital work. Yet when I looked at my Twitter feed at some point this week it was like ‘why is Harry in Ukraine<\/a> and he’s not going to see Prince Louis on his eighth birthday’.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“It kind of makes you think, just read what he is doing here [and] read what is going on here.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Let’s just remind ourselves Ukraine’s conflict has not finished, we might be focusing on Iran because that is the big news event over the last few months but people there are still living with the war.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Yeah you are right to say, well, royal tour or not royal tour if you are helping the Invictus Games and all the injured soldiers and you are helping HALO Trust, why have people got beef with that, I don’t understand.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Duke of Sussex joined the HALO Trust and travelled near the town of Bucha<\/a> for a demonstration of the latest digital de-mining technology on Friday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The HALO Trust is a UK charity which aims to save lives and help communities recover after conflict by making land safe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to ITV News, Harry said that the HALO Trust was doing “incredible work” clearing minefields from Bucha left by retreating Russian force.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although Meghan travelled Down Under with Harry, she did not travel to Ukraine with her husband.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
