Alongside a pic of the pair on the train dressed as Elphaba and Glinda from \u201cWicked,\u201d she clarified the split was \u201cmutual\u201d and emphasized their ongoing commitment to advocacy. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cLove on the Spectrum\u201d stars Tina Zhu Xi Caruso and Pari Kim parted ways, they confirmed in social media statements on Friday. Pari will continue to advocate like Glenda. I hope we can still advocate as friends for things we believe in like public transportation and disability advocacy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Kim <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DXiaQqqjKh3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">took to her own Instagram<\/a> grid with an extended statement on the split, as well. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrains come and go to all different destinations. Some may come into each other\u2019s routes and stations then diverge and go their own separate ways just like MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak,\u201d she wrote alongside a snapshot of an Amtrak train, stating it\u2019s \u201cokay\u201d and \u201cvalid.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth serve their own purposes,\u201d she continued in part. \u201cBoth will reach the light at the end of the tunnel.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Caruso shared a statement clarifying that the split was \u201cmutual.\u201d They\u2019re seen above on the Netflix series.  <span class=\"credit\">Netflix<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>They \u201cmake a good team but can also shine on their own as two individuals,\u201d Kim, seen above with Caruso in a prior social media upload, wrote in her statement.  <span class=\"credit\">Pari Kim\/ Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She noted, \u201cThey are two different railroads on two separate lines but will always support each other when times call for it and cheer each other on from afar. The purple will continue to sparkle unapologetically and the blue will continue to show up fiercely and proudly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kim concluded the statement by writing, \u201cThey both make a good team but can also shine on their own as two individuals. \ud83d\udc9c\ud83d\udc99\ud83d\ude89\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans in the comments thread were quick to express support for the series\u2019 stars. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat a beautifully accurate analogy.
