Across the board, April will be remembered as a consistent month for new releases. This week\u2019s edition of New Music Friday features standout releases from Kehlani, Latto, and Action Bronson.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Music Friday Picks<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Kehlani \u2013 \u2018Kehlani\u2019 (Album)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every so often, a R&amp;B artist will release their highly anticipated self-titled album and that day has come for <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/remixdmagazine.com\/glorilla-kehlani-xmas-time-reactions\/\">Kehlani<\/a>. Ultimately, besides \u201cFolded,\u201d this album falls short of expectations due to a lack of cohesiveness. As a result, I can\u2019t imagine \u2018Kehlani\u2019 having any staying power, because there\u2019s not enough substance to hold listeners over.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kehlani - Folded [Official Music Video]\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KFMYx1TibeQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p><strong>Latto \u2013 \u201cGOMF\u201d ft Glorilla<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Historically speaking, this generation of rappers won\u2019t stop recreating 2000\u2019s classics. At the core, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/remixdmagazine.com\/latto-references-munch-in-new-track-fueling-beef-rumors-with-ice-spice\/\">Latto<\/a>\u2019s \u201cGOMF\u201d is a lazy rehash with minimal differences from the original. All in all, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bambambaklava?igsh=MW9iZGV2a3o2azBvMQ==\">Action Bronson<\/a>\u2019s \u201cTRICERATOPS\u201d is one of the wackiest rag-tag team of artists you\u2019ll hear in one song, that somehow works. Carrying this forward, he continues his momentum with a fiery new single. In fact, this recently happened to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/remixdmagazine.com\/fredo-bang-kicks-off-2022-with-new-release-throw-it-back\/\">Fredo Bang<\/a>, and he was able to capitalize on this moment with a remix.
