Joe Rogan has long been a polarizing figure, known for his massive audience and equally divisive opinions. But one late-night television<\/a> host didn’t bother with diplomacy or political correctness when given the opportunity to weigh in on the podcast host.<\/p>\n During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Cohen fired off a blunt and profane assessment of Rogan. It came after guest Kristin Cavallari mentioned that Rogan endorsed her fellow reality television alum Spencer Pratt for mayor of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n Clearly unimpressed, Cohen didn’t mince words. “Oh, Rogan, the great mind of the universe. Joe f***ing Rogan,” Cohen said, before adding, “What a f***ing idiot.”<\/p>\n The commentary got a strong reaction from the studio audience and essentially brought the Watch What Happens Live episode to a screeching halt. Even Cohen seemed a little surprised that he let himself go that far in sharing what was clearly his honest thoughts on Rogen. His Bravo late-night show<\/a> is typically much more playful than combative, usually letting the guests throw shade at other celebrities.<\/p>\n So is there beef between Andy Cohen and Joe Rogan? Some long-standing animosity that fans don’t know about? According to Cohen, the truth is much more simple than that.<\/p>\n Cavallari pressed the late-night host on where the insult came from, but Cohen offered up a pretty straightforward explanation. “I listen to what he says. That’s all. I listen to what he says. I made my own opinion,” Cohen explained.<\/p>\n Rogan, host of the massively popular The Joe Rogan Experience, has long been a lightning rod for debate due to his wide-ranging (and often controversial) takes on politics, science, and public figures. His comments frequently spark backlash, particularly when he ventures into political endorsements or speculation about public office.<\/p>\n Cohen’s outburst shows just how divisive he thinks those opinions can be. While late-night hosts regularly poke fun at political figures and pundits, it’s less common to see such an unfiltered, direct insult. So clearly, Rogan irritates Cohen on a whole different level.<\/p>\n For his part, Rogan has shared opinions on the current slate of late-night television hosts. He hasn’t directly said anything about Cohen, but called Stephen Colbert “weird”<\/a> and said Bill Maher (another controversial personality) was one of “the best people” of our era.<\/p>\n Whether Rogan responds to Cohen’s outburst on Watch What Happens Live remains to be seen, but the late-night host’s remarks have already added another chapter to the ongoing conversation around the podcaster’s reach and the reactions he provokes.<\/p>\n
