Apple Music<\/a> has partnered with Ticketmaster and Bandsintown to surface upcoming concerts based on your listening, with quick links to buy tickets. Here are the details.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As my colleague Zac covered in his roundup of what\u2019s new with iOS 26.4<\/a>, today\u2019s update introduces a few notable changes for Apple Music<\/a>, including a feature that helps users \u201cdiscover nearby shows from artists in your library [\u2026].\u201d<\/p>\n That is in part thanks to a new partnership between Apple Music<\/a> and Bandsintown, which shared the following in a press release:<\/p>\n With the release of iOS 26.4, tour dates will automatically appear on Apple Music artist pages and in a new Concerts tab within Search, expanding how fans discover live music while listening.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Bandsintown says<\/a> that artists can use the Bandsintown for Artists<\/a> platform to display concert information in two sections on Apple Music:<\/p>\n Bandsintown adds that \u201cvenues, festivals, and promoters subscribed to Bandsintown Pro<\/a> also benefit by having their events seamlessly featured on Apple Music.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition, this integration will allow Apple Music<\/a> to send push notifications about upcoming nearby events, also based on the user\u2019s listening history.<\/p>\n As for Ticketmaster, today\u2019s update actually deepens the partnership it already had with Apple. <\/p>\n As detailed by TechCrunch<\/a><\/em>:<\/p>\n Ticketmaster already powers other event listings across the Apple ecosystem, including Maps, Spotlight Search, Photos, and Shazam, so this is an expansion of the partnership.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Thanks to this expansion, whenever the user sees a concert or event listing on Apple Music, they can now tap a new \u201cGet Tickets\u201d button to purchase tickets directly.<\/p>\n Apple Music requires an active subscription.
