LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) \u2014 Spirits were high and voices were raised Sunday for a special event at Waterfront Park.<\/p>\n
Several Gospel artists and choirs took the stage at The Kentucky Derby Festival’s GospelFest on the Waterfront.<\/p>\n
The three-hour event showcased choirs from around the region. Headliners included Tatiana Barnett, Nate Bean and 4Given, Antwaun Cooks, and Jason Clayborn.<\/p>\n
For some, it was their first time attending, while for others it’s a tradition.<\/p>\n
“We can have church anywhere – we just go inside the building and fellowship with each other but takes a unit to fellowship and enjoy each other,” Cynthia Maxwell, performer, said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
WDRB’s Gilbert Corsey co-hosted the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The concert was free with a 2026 Pegasus Pin.<\/p>\n
