At around 12:30 a.m. on April 26, Queensland Police arrested Androgenic, 25, \u201cin relation to an incident\u201d that occurred on April 18 in the Fortitude Valley suburb of Brisbane, Australia, a police spokesperson told PEOPLE.<\/p>\n
Following Androgenic’s arrest, police issued the content creator an \u201cinfringement notice for public nuisance\u201d and served him a one-month \u201cbanning notice\u201d for two Safe Night Precincts in Queensland, Australia, the spokesperson added. (Safe Night Precincts are entertainment areas in Queensland designated by the government to reduce late-night drug and alcohol-related violence.)<\/p>\n
The spokesperson told PEOPLE that there were no issues during Androgenic’s arrest and did not share further details.<\/p>\n
Videos<\/a> from Androgenic’s Kick livestream, which later circulated online, showed the content creator speaking to police on a crowded street at night and walking with law enforcement to a police station after they informed him he was \u201cunder arrest for public nuisance.\u201d<\/p>\n Just after 2 a.m., Androgenic addressed his arrest in a post<\/a> on X, writing, \u201cI’m free. Stream coming back. Stay tuned.\u201d He shared another update<\/a> four hours later on the platform, telling his followers in a video, \u201cI was arrested. This is serious business. No more f—ing around. Peters was hospitalized for an\u00a0apparent overdose<\/a>\u00a0shortly after.<\/p>\n Androgenic also gained attention earlier this year when a clip of his livestream went viral<\/a>, depicting a man approaching him from behind and suddenly pulling the hat off of his head, revealing that there was a wig attached to it.
