\t\t<\/p>\n Emma Stone<\/strong><\/a> and Chris Pine<\/strong><\/a> are officially set to work together in an upcoming romantic comedy movie!<\/p>\n The fan-favorite actors will star in the upcoming film The Catch<\/strong>, which will be directed by Emma<\/strong>\u2018s husband Dave McCary<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n Universal Pictures has dated the movie for May 21, 2027, according to Deadline<\/a>. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The movie was written by Patrick Kang<\/strong> and Michael Levin <\/strong>and the report says that Emma put her focus on the film once the latest draft came in. She is going to produce the movie alongside Dave <\/strong>and some others, including Shawn Levy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Emma <\/strong>and Dave<\/strong>\u2018s production company Fruit Tree has a first look deal with Universal Pictures, which will oversee production on the movie. <\/p>\n Not much is known about the film other than it being a \u201ctwo-hander rom-com.\u201d<\/p>\n Chris <\/strong>was attached to the project back in February and he\u2019s no stranger to romantic comedies after having his breakout movie role as the romantic lead in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. We recently learned that he\u2019s set to appear in the upcoming third movie <\/a>of that franchise!<\/p>\n Dave<\/strong> was previously a writer and segment director on Saturday Night Live.
