Harry Styles\u2019<\/span><\/a> singing career seems to be going well, but if he ever needs a second job, he could definitely be a proposal wingman.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In fact,<\/span> Nick Kroll,<\/span><\/a> who became friends with the singer while they worked on the 2022 film <\/span>\u201cDon\u2019t Worry Darling\u201d,<\/span><\/a> credits Styles with figuring out a way Kroll could propose to his wife.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 47-year-old \u201cBig Mouth\u201d star<\/span> revealed on the \u201cSmartless\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a> on Monday just how Styles \u2014 who reportedly recently popped the question<\/a> to girlfriend Zoe Kravitz \u2014 helped him to propose to his now-wife, landscape artist Lily Kwong, during a table read for the film.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt was the height of COVID,\u201d Kroll explained, and said that he was planning to propose to Kwong, but was still \u201csort of figuring it out.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kroll, Styles, co-star Florence Pugh and director Olivia Wilde were discussing proposal ideas when the \u201cWatermelon Sugar\u201d singer came up with an idea that fit the bill.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Since Kroll and Kwong had just moved into a new house, the singer suggested putting a huge bouquet of flowers into a moving box with an engagement ring at the center. <\/span>The plan was to then ask Kwong to retrieve the box, and then ask for her hand after she saw the flowers and the ring.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But when Kroll asked Kwong to move that box, she said she was like, \u201cGive me a fucking break. You make me move the fucking box?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kwong did accept the proposal once she saw the flowers and the ring. <\/span>Right before they had a chance to take that first engagement photo, Styles texted Kroll, asking, \u201dHow did it go?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Kroll said he ended up telling Styles about the engagement \u201cbefore we spoke to our families to let them know because he had been checking in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Styles also sent the couple a huge bouquet when they tied the knot at a cliffside wedding in Big Sur in November 2020,<\/span> according to People<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But his thoughtfulness may come back to haunt him.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

During a December 2020 interview with Jimmy Fallon,<\/span><\/a> Kroll joked that as a result of Styles\u2019 thoughtfulness, \u201che is now going to be the guardian of all our children.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
