The Royal Family<\/a> have been hit by a damning blow as a new poll has revealed what Britons really think of how they handled Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a>‘s arrest earlier this year. The 66-year-old has seen his reputation in tatters over his connection to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He then added: “Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.’<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Fans were asked in a poll conducted by Ipsos whether the royals handled his arrest well, neither badly or well or very badly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The shock results show that, looking back at when allegations were first brought against him, just 28 per cent said they had handled it well.
