Our 2021 <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2144812\/balming-tiger-omega-sapien\/interviews\/band-to-watch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Band To Watch<\/a> released the playful <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2286049\/stream-balming-tigers-proudly-ridiculous-new-ep-greatest-hits\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Greatest Hits<\/em><\/a> EP a couple years ago, and since then Sogumm collaborated with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2302173\/dj-seinfeld-are-you-in-feat-balming-tigers-sogumm\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DJ Seinfeld<\/a> and Mudd the student unveiled an <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2480851\/stream-lageon-the-impressive-solo-debut-from-balming-tigers-mudd-the-student\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">impressive solo debut<\/a>. Now the alternative K-pop collective is announcing a new album called <em>Gongbu<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The lead single &#8220;Home&#8221; is out today, and it has bj wnjn, Sogumm, Mudd the student, Lee Suho, and San Yawn each reinterpreting the concept of home. The press release says the record is &#8220;centered around the narrative of &#8216;Gongbu Korea,&#8217; a fictional research institute where experimental technologies are used to observe and document human dreams and the unconscious.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Home&#8221; comes with a music video co-directed Jan\u2019 Qui and San Yawn.
