American Idol<\/a><\/em> star Clay Aiken<\/a> just shared a photo of his son Parker\u2019s prom photo \u2014 and not only does he look so grown up, but he\u2019s the spitting image of his famous father.<\/p>\n On April 27, Clay 47, the American Idol<\/em> Season 2 runner-up to winner Ruben Studdard<\/a>, took to his Instagram<\/a> Stories with a snapshot of his 17-year-old son ahead of his senior prom. The picture showed Parker \u2014 who bears a striking resemblance to the \u201cInvisible\u201d singer \u2014 wearing a black tux with a white undershirt, a yellow tie, and a yellow boutonni\u00e8re. He posed with an arm around the waist of his date, who donned a matching bright yellow dress with her hair in an updo.<\/p>\n \u201cBaby\u2019s first prom night,\u201d Clay captioned the update, also including the song \u201cI Love You Always Forever.\u201d<\/p>\n Clay Aiken’s son Parker and his prom date<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Clay has opted to keep Parker mostly out of the spotlight through the years \u2014 however, the teenager has recently become slightly more visible. Last April, Clay and Parker walked the red carpet together at the Broadway premiere of Boop! The Musical<\/em> in New York City. Father and son posed for photos with Parker\u2019s uncle, David Foster<\/a>, who composed the musical.<\/p>\n Additionally, Parker and Clay appeared in an episode<\/a> of Celebrity Family Feud<\/em><\/a> that aired in August 2024. Their team also included Clay\u2019s mother, Faye Aiken, Clay\u2019s brother, Brett Aiken, and Parker\u2019s mother, Jaymes Foster. They competed against David, David\u2019s wife, Katharine McPhee Foster<\/a>, David\u2019s daughter, Amy Foster, Katharine\u2019s sister, Adriana McPhee, and Brandon Jenner<\/a>, David\u2019s stepson. (Spoiler alert: Clay\u2019s team won!)<\/span><\/p>\n Parker may look like his famous father, but he has no intention of following in his musical footsteps.
