DMA\u2019s<\/a> have announced their new self-titled album and shared the \u201cferal energy\u201d of single \u2018Heatin\u2019 Park\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Aussie rockers are set to release their new album on August 7 via
Wonderlick Entertainment\/Sony Music Australia\/RCA UK (preorder\/presave here<\/a>). So far, they\u2019ve shared the nostalgic lead single \u2018My Baby\u2019s Place<\/a>\u2018 \u2013 their first\u00a0entirely self-produced and recorded song.<\/p>\n

Now, they\u2019ve followed it up with the thoroughly \u201cferal\u201d \u2018Heatin\u2019 Park\u2019 \u2013 a nod to Manchester\u2019s iconic Heaton Park, accompanied by a rollicking Britpop arrangement.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the track, lead guitarist Matt Mason said:\u00a0\u201c\u2018Heatin Park\u2019 started as
an old forgotten demo banged into a new sound for us and that collision is what gives it its feral energy. The album is called DMA\u2019S because that\u2019s exactly what it is and we\u2019re keen to bring it home and play for you all.\u201d<\/p>\n
