Zooey Deschanel<\/a> showed her love for her fianc\u00e9 Jonathan Scott<\/a> on Tuesday (April 28) as she celebrated the Property Brothers<\/em><\/a> star\u2019s 48th birthday.<\/p>\n

The New Girl<\/em><\/a> alum shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram, including snaps of the happy couple on vacation, on the red carpet, and at home. \u201cHappy Birthday @jonathanscott, can\u2019t wait to celebrate you. I\u2019m truly so lucky,\u201d Deschanel wrote alongside the post.<\/p>\n

She also shared the post on her Instagram Stories, with Minnie Riperton\u2019s \u201cLovin\u2019 You\u201d playing in the background.<\/p>\n

Scott replied in the comments, writing, \u201cThanks for showing me the BEST time for my birthday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans flooded the comments with well-wishes and sweet messages, with one Instagram user writing, \u201cHappy Birthday!!! My favorite celebrity couple.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re such a great couple!\u201d said another.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo gorgeous people. I like the love light in your eyes,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n

Deschanel and Scott began dating in 2019 after meeting on a segment of\u00a0Carpool Karaoke<\/em><\/a>. They went public with their relationship one week after the Elf\u00a0<\/em><\/a>star announced that she and her husband,\u00a0Jacob Pechenik<\/a>, were divorcing. Scott is stepfather to Deschanel\u2019s children, Elsie (10) and Charlie (8), whom she shares with Pechenik.<\/p>\n

The couple announced their engagement on August 14, 2023; however, they haven\u2019t yet confirmed any plans for a wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe literally haven\u2019t made any plans yet. We\u2019re busy with all of the kids\u2019 stuff, and so we\u2019re really just chauffeurs to the kids\u2019 social lives,\u201d Scott told People<\/a> last year. \u201cWe\u2019ve just been\u00a0having so much fun\u00a0traveling with the kids and filming this show and stuff.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cSo no, we have not actually made any plans yet, which, it\u2019s been\u00a0two years now since I proposed\u2026 Whatever we do, it has to be meaningful to us and we want to gather our friends and family and have a good time\u2026 we want to keep it very, very intimate.\u201d<\/p>\n
