On April 22, it was announced that Maura Higgins, who recently appeared on The Traitors<\/em>, is going to be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars<\/em>. The 35-year-old, who was originally known for her time on Love Island, <\/em>has a huge following on social media with over four million Instagram followers.<\/p>\n When speaking with Bustle<\/em><\/a>, Maura revealed how excited she was to get the call. \u201cI was actually going through New York\u2019s JFK Airport,\u201d she said. \u201cI froze in the middle of the airport while there were so many people going past. After that, I\u2019m probably done. Never say never, because I don\u2019t want to be that person, but it\u2019s the only other show on my vision board.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked what songs she would like to dance to, she revealed, \u201cI really want to dance to Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s \u2018Traitor\u2019 because it just makes sense. I also want to dance to \u2018Die on This Hill\u2019 by Sienna Spiro. Something about that song hits me deep.\u201d<\/p>\n The Instagram announcement from Dancing with the Stars<\/em> was captioned, \u201cShe went from looking for love to looking for who to trust, and now she’s looking to win the Mirrorball.\u201d Higgens commented on it saying, \u201cI TINK IM VERY EXCITED.\u201d<\/p>\n Mark Ballas, who appeared on the same season as The Traitors<\/em> as her, commented, \u201cI TINK this is gonna be AMAZING. CONGRATS friend.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked about her relationship with Ballas, she said, \u201cWe did speak a lot about Dancing With the<\/em> Stars<\/em> in the castle, because I was telling him how much I wanted to do the show. When I got the news, I texted him, \u2018I\u2019m going to beg for you. I really want you to be my partner.\u2019 He was like, \u2018Let\u2019s just pray.
