Prince William and Kate<\/a>, the Princess of Wales, are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary<\/a>.<\/p>\n

William, the heir to Britain’s throne, and Kate\u00a0wed<\/a>\u00a0at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29, 2011, in a ceremony watched by millions of people around the world.<\/p>\n

The couple are now the parents of three children<\/a>, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 8.<\/p>\n

Last year, William and Kate spent<\/a> their anniversary in Scotland, where they first\u00a0met<\/a>\u00a0as students at the University of St Andrews.<\/p>\n

They both studied art history and geography and shared a farmhouse with several friends before starting a relationship that has now lasted more than 20 years.<\/p>\n

William proposed<\/a> to Kate with his late mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring while he and his now-wife were vacationing in Kenya in October 2010, royal officials said at the time.<\/p>\n

Less than one year later, in front of 1,900 guests at Westminster Abbey, William and Kate each vowed<\/a> to “love, comfort, honor and keep” each other “in sickness and in health.”<\/p>\n
