However, the claim, made by the founder of Tolou Capital Management, Spencer Hakimian, appeared to be unfounded. “JUST IN: Kid Rock<\/a> addresses The Pentagon on the Strait of Hormuz,” he said on X, formerly known as Twitter<\/a>. He attached a picture of the musician at a podium, appearing to address members of the United States Armed Forces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “Fake News! I was actually addressing them on the state of your Mom and that she is still open for ‘business’ – Your welcome. Kid Rock,” he replied.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n While Kid Rock didn’t address The Pentagon, Spencer’s joke was likely a reference to his recent ties to the country’s defense, including a ‘joy ride’ with Department of War Pete Hegseth on Apache helicopters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n On Monday, April 27, reporter Ryan Grim took to X to claim the country star and Hegseth took two Apache helicopters from Fort Belvoir in Fairfax County, V.A. Kid Rock reportedly flew to the military base in the morning on his private jet, according to Grim’s Army sources and flight data.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In his message on X, Grim wrote, “Scoop: Kid Rock flew to Fort Belvoir this morning on his private jet and took a little joy ride on 2 Apache helicopters with War Secretary Pete Hegseth, according to multiple Army sources, and backed up by flight data.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “Apaches typically have 2 pilots, but they went up with one so the boys could each ride shotgun, I’m told. Apache helicopters are not stationed at Ft. Belvoir, so it’s unclear where they came from. A spokesperson at the base referred questions to the secretary’s office.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell ultimately defended the flights, claiming the incident was a part of a \u201cFreedom 250\u201d community relations event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cRobert \u2018Kid Rock\u2019 Ritchie participated in multiple troop touches with service members and filmed videos for Memorial Day, America\u2019s 250th birthday, and for his Freedom 250 tour,\u201d Parnell said in a statement to Military.com<\/a>. \u201cThe visit provided an opportunity for Kid Rock to thank service members \u2026 and recognize their continued sacrifice.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
