MOSCOW \u2014 Serving the Moscow community must be a family trait for the Faircloths.<\/span><\/p>\n Moscow\u2019s Cyndi and Daryle Faircloth were named this year\u2019s queen and king of the 53rd Moscow Renaissance Fair, which takes place this Saturday and Sunday at East City Park.<\/span><\/p>\n Like the royals who came before them, they are being recognized for years of involvement in Moscow community events. <\/span><\/p>\n It also means Cyndi Faircloth is following in her mother\u2019s footsteps. Her mother, Karen Lewis, was named queen in 1981 with Peter Basoa as king. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI always admired that she did that because she was really involved for a long time,\u201d Cyndi said.<\/span><\/p>\n Their royal designation is not the only prestigious title in their family. Their daughter, Hailey Lewis, was elected mayor of Moscow this past November. <\/span><\/p>\n Now, Cyndi and Daryle get to have bragging rights over their daughter. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe get to be king and queen of her for a weekend,\u201d Daryle joked.<\/span><\/p>\n The Faircloths are being recognized for years of serving on the board of Moscow\u2019s annual summer music festival Rendezvous in the Park. Daryle, who said music is a big part of his life, just recently completed 15 years on the board.
