The Game<\/a> has shared that he believes rap is in a “sad” place without Drake<\/a> releasing new music.<\/p>\n During a new interview with Complex<\/em>, in which he ranks his top rappers, the Compton rapper (who called today\u2019s hip-hop “trash” last year<\/a>) explained why he thinks Drizzy is desperately needed in today’s hip-hop landscape.<\/p>\n “You walk in the clubs, everybody on their phone, nobody looks like they\u2019re having a good time anymore,” Game began. “If you walked in the club today, what song would make you happy about being there right now? Yeat gonna come on and turn y\u2019all up? He gonna turn y\u2019all section up? And I\u2019m not shitting on Yeat. But we got Drake out here feeling like we didn\u2019t appreciate him, so now he tucked away working on Iceman<\/em>, chillin’ like, ‘They don\u2019t appreciate me.’ He should never feel that way.”<\/p>\n Luckily for Game, and the rest of the rap scene, Drake is set to release his long-awaited album Iceman <\/em>on May 15.
