Little Simz<\/a> has announced a brand-new EP, \u2018Sugar Girl\u2019, set for release next week. Check out the teasers below.<\/p>\n The North London rapper will drop the project on Friday May 8, following on from her acclaimed 2025 album, \u2018Lotus\u2019<\/a>. You can pre-save\/pre-add it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n A black-and-white preview video for the forthcoming collection shows Simz delivering lines over a booming, electronic instrumental. She is yet to share a tracklist for \u2018Sugar Girl\u2019.<\/p>\n The news comes after the artist played a new song, \u2018Game On\u2019, at Coachella 2026<\/a> earlier this month (via Setlist.FM<\/em><\/a>), and posted a clip of the track online last week (listen below).<\/p>\n She had previously appeared to hint at her next era with a mid-gig DJ set at her recent dates, including her performance at London\u2019s O2 last October.<\/p>\n Her concerts in the capital and in Manchester in late 2025 marked Simz\u2019 biggest-ever UK headline live dates<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last month, Simz was earned her fifth Ivor Novello nomination<\/a> for her single \u2018Free\u2019<\/a> in the Best Contemporary Song category.
