\u201cHe was really committed to this idea of it being a surprise, and he did a phenomenal job,\u201d Sitar, 29, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> at the 2026 Billboard<\/i> Women in Music event on Wednesday, April 29. \u201cI did not see it coming. It was the biggest surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Sitar announced<\/span><\/a> she got engaged to Brubaker, 29, after a proposal by the ocean blue water.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just so happy. I feel like it reignites this honeymoon phase,\u201d Sitar shared from the Hollywood Palladium. \u201cI feel like I wake up every morning. I\u2019m like, \u2018Hey, fianc\u00e9.\u2019 It\u2019s so fun to have this new era unlocked.\u201d<\/p>\n

As of now, Sitar and Brubaker \u2014 who is a TikTok star and radio personality \u2014 have yet to solidify a wedding date. While there is some possibility that the ceremony could happen toward the end of the year, the couple have also thought about taking their time and waiting until 2027.<\/p>\n

One thing is certain: Everyone who gets an invite better be prepared to dance the night away.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one is allowed to leave the dance floor at night,\u201d the bride-to-be proclaimed. \u201cWe have to be tearing it up together. I need good music. I need everyone\u2019s shoes off on the dance floor.\u201d<\/p>\n
