I ask that you hold us in your thoughts, prayers, light and love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Strayed, who has been married to Lindstrom since 1999, did not further disclose his condition. She also defended posting on social media amid his health battle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIf it seems emotionally dissonant to see me posting cheerful clips from my podcast each week, now and over the coming several weeks, it is for me too,\u201d she added on Thursday. Those interviews, which I loved doing, were recorded previously, in easier, happier times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Several of Strayed\u2019s social media followers offered their support in the comments section.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cPrayers are with you <span class=\"s2\">\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc<\/span>,\u201d <b>Hilary Swank <\/b>replied, while <b>Adriene Mishler<\/b> added, \u201cCheryl, thank you for modeling care and connection. <span class=\"s2\">\u2764\ufe0f<\/span>My heart is with you and yours and we are here for you as you are for so many. All my love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Michaela Watkins<\/b>, for her part, called Strayed\u2019s update \u201cvery gutting\u201d to read.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cMay miracles of mending technology find you,\u201d Watkins, 54, wrote on Thursday. \u201cMay your love of each other and of those who love you hold you so so tight.
