Whoopi Goldberg<\/strong><\/a> thinks sending President Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> to the moon for NASA\u2019s next space mission would be a great idea.<\/p>\n

During the Thursday, April 30 episode of The View<\/em><\/a>, the panel was discussing Trump\u2019s recent comments about going to space following the recent Artemis II. During a recent address with the mission\u2019s astronauts, Trump said he\u2019d physically \u201chave no trouble making it\u201d into space and asked if \u201ca president is allowed to go up on one of these missions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou could go up there if they left you up there,\u201d Goldberg, 70, quipped after hearing Trump\u2019s remarks. \u201cYou can drive around on the moon on the rover.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldberg ultimately balked at the idea of leaving Trump, 79, in space citing he doesn\u2019t have the qualifications to be an astronaut.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe White House is not enjoying the viewpoints of some past and present cohosts of The View. \u201cRosie O\u2019Donnell and \u2018Joyless\u2019 Behar are irrelevant losers with too much time on their hands, whining about a failing talk show while everyday Americans are working hard,\u201d White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said in a statement to Entertainment [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t think you would really qualify because you need a master\u2019s degree in STEM fields,\u201d she said. \u201cYou don\u2019t have any master\u2019s degrees.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldberg added that Trump also did not meet the age requirements and some additional skills needed.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to have skills in leadership, teamwork and communications,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Cohost Joy Behar agreed with Goldberg about sending Trump to the moon and pitched for some of his colleagues to join him on the adventure.<\/p>\n

\u201cTake [JD<\/strong>] Vance<\/strong> and that Mike Johnson<\/strong> with you,\u201d Behar, 83, quipped. \u201cI hear that Jupiter is lovely this time of year. Maybe Jupiter, because the moon is not that far. Jupiter is further away!\u201d<\/p>\n

On a lighter note, Alyssa Farah Griffin<\/strong> \u2014 who previously served in Trump\u2019s first administration \u2014 expressed her enthusiasm for the Artemis II mission.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything about it made me feel better about life in the moment when it doesn\u2019t feel great,\u201d Griffin said of the space excursion.<\/p>\n

Sunny Hostin<\/strong> also agreed that the mission was inspiring and that she doesn\u2019t think Trump has what it takes to go to space.<\/p>\n
