Swedish modern metal force METALITE continue their forward momentum with the release of a stunning new music video for their latest single, \u201cStarchild.\u201d Following their recent signing with PERCEPTION \u2013 A Division Of Reigning Phoenix Music and the high-energy introduction of the previously released track \u201cOur Time Has Come,\u201d the band now dives deeper into the sonic universe of their upcoming concept album\u00a0Discovery<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cStarchild\u201d showcases METALITE\u2019s signature blend of soaring melodies, powerful riffs, and futuristic soundscapes. Driven by epic arrangements and shimmering synth layers, the track pulls listeners straight into the heart of the album\u2019s narrative, offering a glimpse into the story unfolding within their ambitious new record.<\/p>\n

With the accompanying video, METALITE bring the world of \u201cStarchild\u201d to life, visually expanding the band\u2019s sci-fi inspired concept and underlining their dynamic and modern approach to power metal.<\/p>\n

Guitarist, producer, songwriter and founder Edwin Premberg comments: \u201cStarchild is a key piece of the concept behind our upcoming album Discovery. It\u2019s a classic Metalite track, packed with high energy and soaring melodies but with some new influences. I wanted to create something heavier, a song that\u2019s truly headbang-friendly with a chorus everyone will be singing along to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Formed in 2015 by guitarist Edwin Premberg and vocalist Emma Bensing, the band quickly gained recognition for its fresh and modern take on melodic metal and their 2017 debut album\u00a0Heroes in Time<\/em>\u00a0set the stage for METALITE\u2019s rise.<\/p>\n

In 2019, the band entered a new era with\u00a0Biomechanicals<\/em>, marking the debut of vocalist Erica Ohlsson. With an even more refined sound, the album embraced electronic elements and pulsating rhythms, elevating METALITE\u2019s futuristic vision, further solidifying the band\u2019s reputation as innovators in the genre.<\/p>\n

Their evolution continued with\u00a0A Virtual World<\/em>\u00a0in 2021, an album that expanded on their sci-fi themes while delivering massive soundscapes and powerful melodies.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0Expedition One<\/em>\u00a0(2024), METALITE embarked on their most ambitious project to date. A visionary concept album set in the year 2055, it tells the story of a renegade team searching for a new world, exploring themes of human evolution, technology, and survival.<\/p>\n

In 2024, the band welcomed drummer Erik Junttila to the lineup, bringing new energy and power to their sound. His premiere gig with the band took place in Link\u00f6ping at the beginning of 2025, marking an exciting new chapter in METALITE\u2019s journey. Since then, they completed several tours with bands like PAIN, LEAVES\u2019 EYES\u00a0and the NIGHT\u00a0FLIGHT\u00a0ORCHESTRA\u00a0and played at several festivals, including Sweden Rock and Masters of Rock.<\/p>\n

With millions of streams and a growing global fanbase, METALITE continues to redefine the future of melodic metal.
