Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> just had a very tender moment with her fellow mama bear Sheinelle Jones.<\/p>\nThe Today With Jenna & Sheinelle<\/a> cohost became visibly emotional on Thursday’s show while running through her recent busy schedule.<\/p>\n“I’ve been working a lot \u2026 and I’ve had these big interviews and all the book stuff, and so this morning when I woke up, I thought, ‘Okay, the next couple weeks, the next couple months, it’s kid-focused,'” the mother of three told Jones, who is raising three kids of her own that she had with her late husband, Uche Ojeh.<\/p>\n
Hager went on to say that she’s been especially concerned about not having enough time for her 10-year-old daughter, Poppy Louise, her middle child.<\/p>\n
“I’m like, ‘How can I show up for Poppy in a way\u2026.?'” Hager began, before abruptly cutting herself off as her voice broke. “Now I’m crying.”<\/p>\n

Trying to laugh it off, Hager continued, “I don’t know what’s wrong with me! It’s ’cause I haven’t been able to\u2026”<\/p>\n
As she trailed off, Jones \u2014 who recently penned her ode to motherhood with her book, Through Mom’s Eyes \u2014 pulled her friend into a hug, assuring her that she was describing a familiar experience.<\/p>\n
“The thing is, we see you,” Jones said. “I’m not trying to be like, ‘That’s why I wrote my book,’ but it’s true. It’s one of those things where we can’t do it all at the same time, but when we’re here, when we’re in the moment, you lean into your presence.”<\/p>\n
Comforting Hager, she added, “And also \u2014 you just had a whole Mommy & Me thing. And that was amazing!”<\/p>\n
“But that wasn’t with Poppy,” Hager replied, then assured her, “I know, we’re okay.”<\/p>\n
